FROM AIRPORT TO CAMPUS VIA MARTA

Atlanta’s public transportation system, MARTA, has a rail station inside of the airport. This service offers the quickest and most inexpensive way to get to campus ($1.75). Trains leave approximately every ten minutes.

MARTA’s rail system operates from 5:00 A.M. to 1:00 A.M. Monday through Friday, and from
5:30 A.M. to 12:30 A.M. weekends and holidays.

All trains leaving the airport travel north toward Georgia Tech. Disembark at the Midtown Station and follow signs to the Peachtree exit. Once outside, wait by the Tech Trolley sign for the bright yellow clearly labeled trolley that will take you to campus. Trolley schedules are posted here. Please note that they do not run on Sunday mornings.

I-75 or I-85 DRIVING
FROM THE SOUTH TO CAMPUS

1. Take the West Peachtree/Spring Street exit (249D)
2. At the top of the exit ramp, go through the first intersection (Spring Street).
3. At the next intersection (West Peachtree), turn left.
4. Continue on West Peachtree (aprox. 1 block) and turn on left on to North Avenue.
5. Turn right onto Cherry Street.
6. Forced left onto Ferst Drive.
7. The Student Center Parking Deck is on the right. *Be sure to park in the deck. If you park in the Student Center Visitor Lot, you will be charged a fee that FASET will not cover.

FROM AIRPORT TO CAMPUS VIA
AIRPORT SHUTTLE

The Atlanta Link is one of many transportation services located at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Follow signs to “ground transportation” and find the section C stalls 10-14. The cost is $18.50 one-way per person, and it runs every thirty minutes between 6:00 a.m. and midnight. The shuttle will take you directly to Georgia Tech or area hotels. If you have any questions, call 404-524-3400 or see their web site at http://www.theatlantalink.com. You must call at least twenty-four hours in advance to book your reservation.

1. Take the North Avenue Exit (249 D).

FROM AIRPORT TO CAMPUS VIA TAXI

If you are carrying a lot of luggage, you may opt to take a taxi. Taxis are located directly outside the baggage claim area. The fare to Georgia Tech is roughly $30. The ride will take twenty to forty minutes depending on traffic. You will be traveling into the downtown area, so it is best to avoid times between 6:00 A.M. -9:00 A.M.

FASET PARKING

Parking on the Georgia Tech campus will be available only in designated areas during the FASET Orientation program (see below)*. Once you park your vehicle, you should not need to move it again during the duration of the FASET program. The campus is easily covered by foot and we have a bus and trolley system.
