Opportunities at Tech is an organizations fair that is designed to allow incoming students to familiarize themselves with all of the student organizations that Georgia Tech has to offer. It allows incoming students the opportunity to get involved and is a great time for you to recruit new members. Opportunities at Tech usually begins at 4pm on the first day of the program. Student Organizational Involvement

Opportunities at Tech provides your campus organization the chance to get involved with the FASET Orientation program and advertise to the 2400 freshmen and 3200 parents we serve during Summer and Fall Orientation sessions. We encourage you to provide information about your services and opportunities available, as well as help us welcome these new yellow jackets to the Georgia Tech community.

On-Campus Departments

The Marketplace information fair is a collection of campus departments promoting their goods and services to incoming Tech students and their guests. Vendors are arranged in a central location and provided with a display table. Marketplace is scheduled for the second day of the program from 12:30 - 3:00 pm. We are anticipating more than 2400 students and their guests to attend the five FASET sessions throughout the summer. This is an excellent opportunity for your department to publicize its services to incoming Tech students.

FASET Orientation produces a publication for incoming students and their parents/guests. This publication provides information about campus and academic resources as well as local attractions and services. We encourage departments and organizations to have a presence in this booklet. All information and advertisements are printed in black and white copy. There are many unique marketing opportunities for companies to advertise at the FASET program.
